BRAZILIAN CONGRESS RIOT: Bolsonaro is set to come back to Brasil, Financial Times writes, after leaving for Miami right after his loss at the presidential election. Taking a page out of Trumps' book, Bolsonaro posted a video on Facebook on Tuesday evening claimed that “Lula was not elected by the people. He was elected by the supreme court and the electoral court,” nodding to the far-right conspiracy that the court had rigged the election in favour of Lula. The president in charge deployed additional security forces to contain protests after the video.

SWEDISH PRESIDENCY OF THE COUNCIL OF THE EU
Security, competitiveness, green and energy transitions, democratic values and the rule of law. These are the priorities of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2023.
The first meeting in Sweden during the Presidency is taking place in Kiruna, Sweden’s northernmost city. The Prime Minister has invited the European Commission for talks with the Government on the priorities of the Presidency and current issues on the EU agenda.
